Business Plus is Premium flying fares for experienced travellers. Passenger’s who book Business Plus will be provided with:
- Fast and free airport check-in
- One (1) 20kg Checked Bag
- Premium Seat (subject to seat availability)
- Priority Boarding
- Airport FastTrack security service (at participating airports)
- SMS flight details.
These services must be selected at the time of booking in order for airline sales agents to include them free of charge. Business Plus fares include a free flight details text message and real-time updates. This means that Ryanair will text you your flight information (departure time, boarding gate and any delays etc) directly to your phone.
Business Plus provides the customers with the option to receive text message confirmations regarding their flight. For more information visit Ryanair Contact Us page and FAQs forum. Business Plus also includes flexibility on ticket changes which means you can adjust the time or date of your flight free of charge.
You can change your booked flight (flight/route), free of charge, to a flight one (1) day before or after your original flight (subject to seat availability). This free flight change can happen up to one (1) hour after the original flight departure time if moving to a later flight or 40 minutes before the new flight if transferring to an earlier service.
This change can be settled at the airport ticket desk or via the Ryanair Call Centre, 0330 100 6996 (subject to opening hours).
Any flight changes (date/flight/route) made outside of -/+ 1 days of your flight will not be charged a flight change fee but customers ought to pay any applicable fare difference. Passengers who have already checked in online will have to contact Ryanair to uncheck their flight before a change can be made. Business Plus customers can check-in at the airport free of charge.
Flight Change Enquiries
Customers who have booked their flight directly on the website have a 24-hour grace period from the time of original booking, to put right any minor mistakes (i.e. spelling of names, incorrect routes/dates).
If you have booked your flight in your married name but your passport or National ID card displays your maiden name or vice versa, you can contact Ryanair to assist you in changing it.
If your payment is rejected when you are adding an item of checked baggage/priority boarding/sports or musical equipment online, the requested service will NOT be added to the reservation. In order to add the item again and pay for the service, you will have to use a different type of payment.
If you think that your payment is rejected while you’re trying to change your flight times or dates online, please be informed that:
- Your requested flight/s changes will have been made.
- Your original flight/s are no longer booked.
- You will need to page back to return to the payment page and re-enter your payment details again or enter a new type of payment.
If you fail to pay the outstanding amount for the flight change, your new flight(s) will be cancelled and your original flights reinstated.

You can make most of these changes online in the My Bookings section or by using the Ryanair Phone number, 0330 100 7838. There is also that great opportunity to avoid calling altogether and use the chat online feature.
Ryanair Special Assistance
Passengers needing airport special assistance or who are of reduced mobility must pre-advise their state of health or condition upon booking. There is a special assistance desk situated within the airport. If you have pre-booked airport special assistance, on arrival at the airport, please show your online boarding pass at the special assistance desk.
In order for the airport to successfully provide pre-booked special assistance, passengers must show themselves at the airport special assistance desk 2 hours before their flight departure time.
Therapeutic Oxygen is limited to one customer per flight. If you need this addition, please call the Ryanair Contact Number for Special Assistance, 0330 100 7838. They will check availability and send you a Therapeutic Oxygen Medical Clearance form.
This form should be completed and sent back to Ryanair for validation between 14 days up to 2 days prior to your outbound flight.
Once validated, the form will be sent back to you via email and should then be presented to cabin crew on boarding the aircraft.
Please note that therapeutic oxygen cannot be supplied on Ryanair flights that are operated by Air Explore or Smartlynx.
Travel cannot be allowed without a validated Therapeutic Oxygen Medical Clearance Form.
A medical equipment baggage waiver letter is needed to carry any medical equipment or supplies onboard a Ryanair flight.
Customers with pre-existing medical conditions who need to carry medical equipment/supplies in addition to their checked/hand baggage allowance should call the Ryanair customer service number for Special Assistance, 0330 100 7838 well in advance of travel.
On provision of a doctor’s letter validating their requirements, a medical equipment baggage waiver letter will be issued. Only items listed in the waiver letter will be accepted for carriage free of charge. Please make sure that these items are packed separately and available for inspection at the airport.
Airline Dispute Resolution
Ryanair welcomes the chance to discuss any problem you are experiencing and make every possible effort to reach an agreement directly with you. Airline Dispute Resolution is an independent and impartial dispute resolution scheme operated by The Retail Ombudsman. If you remain dissatisfied with the final decision and still have Ryanair complaints, you may be able to refer the matter to Airline Dispute Resolution and send it by post.

They will accept your complaint via the contact details above. However, you may also submit a complaint via the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform on this website.
Please note that when filling trader information on the ODR platform you will be asked to include an e-mail address for Ryanair and you should use this email. This e-mail address is not for direct customer use; it is only to be used when finishing the ODR complaint form. They will respond to any general Ryanair complaints or correspondence sent to this address.
Flight Refund Requests
All flights are changeable but they cannot be cancelled.
You don’t have to notify Ryanair if you are unable to travel and if you can’t use your outbound flight you can still use your return flight.
If you do not travel on your booked flight, the airfare, fees, and charges are non-refundable but you may request in writing within one month of the date of travel for a refund of the Government Tax paid. Government tax refunds are subject to an administration fee. If the refund amount is less than the applicable administration fee, no refund will be made.
If you have already begun your journey and are affected by an immediate family bereavement, contact Ryanair Contact Numbers centre, 0330 100 7838. They will work with you to arrange a quick return journey. If you have been affected by the loss of an immediate member of your family within 28 days of your intended flight date and you do not wish to travel, Ryanair will provide a full refund upon application.
In order to process your refund request without delay, submit or attach:
- Your flight reservation number
- Confirmation of your relationship with the deceased
- Suitable documentary evidence
- Confirmation of which customers on the flight reservation require a full or partial refund
Ryanair considers the following family members as “immediate”:
- Civil Partner
- Children (including adopted/step children)
- Parents (including step parents)
- Siblings (including step siblings)
- Grandparents & Grandchildren
In the event of death or serious illness making it not possible for a customer to travel, the reservations of the affected customer and anyone travelling on the same booking reference may, at Ryanair’s discretion, be refunded.
If it is appropriate, Ryanair can also offer to change flight dates and they will waive any restriction or fee once suitable documentary evidence is sent to them before of the date of travel.

If a flight time is changed significantly (more than 3 hours before or after the original departure time) and no acceptable alternative flight is available, Ryanair will, upon application, offer a refund for all monies paid in respect of the affected flight(s).
